A few days ago, Kaitlyn spent some time feeding herself Cheerios. Until recently, she’s been able to grab cereal pieces but she couldn’t figure out how to get them into her mouth. Now she is learning to pinch the cereal with her forefinger and thumb and put them in her mouth. As soon as she gets one, she squeals and giggles and then “talks” to me to say how she got it into her mouth. She’s VERY proud of herself - and so am I!
Then came bathtime; as Brian was home for this bath, I had him take some pictures. I am looking forward to Kaitlyn being able to sit on her own so she can have more fun playing in the tub - soon! The little red crab is a squirtie toy, but it always surprises her when it squirts.
